Yes, our Mother PTA is true blue Indian motherhood. They have taken an oath to master Internet to protect their children as Santa Cruz School goes Smart! Our students search, research and learn online.
Three of our students, we call them Awesome Threesome, have been invited to Malaysia for a Cultural Exchange, to showcase the ways in which they globalized themselves.
regularly write blog posts about their connected learning and vision. They show the blog posts to each other and their classmates, improves their article. They have ownership of their own learning. They continually improve their own articles, continually improving their writing skills!
Writing a blog post describing what one learned each day is far better than asking students to write a language Composition which is read only by his teacher. Thank you Sebastian for leading our students lead smart lives! They have already become proud Wiki Ambassadors
Their mothers take an active part at connected learning, helping these sons at learning English, each one teach one model. Come October and these mothers and sons are going to make a public presentation to show how the mother and child teams learned English the Wiki Way, hoping to induce all parents spend quality time with their children, learner to learner model.
Santa Cruz students learn English at the Computer Lab, go home and teach that to their mothers. Mother and son spend time together Learning English Online! Mother PTA is gearing up to run a LEO (Learn English Online) training at the school, with Sebastian as their facilitator.
Santa Cruz High School MPTA is ready to run a Spoken English training at the school.
A few years ago, this project was started at Pala by Sebastian, an old student of SCHS, now mentoring our MPTA.
Santa Cruz HSS is rightfully proud of our staff, students and parents.
